What is Online Coaching?

You may have seen my online personal training service advertised across my social media pages over the years.

However, you may be asking yourself "what the f*ck is it?!"

In today's blog post I am going to cover what online personal training is but more importantly explain the service that I offer and how it could help you to achieve your health and fitness goals.

The beauty of online personal training is personalisation and support.

First and foremost, online personal training is a fantastic service that can not only help keep you accountable with your fitness and health but also help you achieve your goals.

No matter who you are or what your goal is you can benefit from online personal training.

- It is suitable for all populations.

- Doesn't matter if you are a complete beginner or an advanced gym-goer.

- Young or old.

- Wanting to achieve a specific goal..

- Need the motivation and support.

- Or you might need a fresh routine.

The Online Coaching service that I personally offer aims to work closely with you. Giving you the service and support you need. Making you actually feel like a valued client rather than just another number.

Ultimately, the main reason I love my job is seeing the transformation in people from start to finish.

Therefore, coaching you and working with you to achieve your goal is the most important job I have.

Since I first started doing online personal training in 2014, I have gone through many transitions and periods leading me to creating a one stop service for all your health and fitness needs.

A service that I am genuinely proud of.

My coaching skills and service have improved massively and continue to do so. It is the one thing I have strongly focused on the last few years. Let's be honest, anyone can write a program and give it to their client but motivating that individual to follow the plan and keep consistent is another ball game.

Clients often hire personal trainers because they don't know where to start or what to do to achieve their goal.

Most importantly, the main reason people hire a personal trainer is so they have someone to hold themselves accountable to.

Achieving a health and fitness goal should never be a sprint. No short cuts. No fancy sh*t. And definitely no extreme protocols.

Keeping a balance should always be the main focus. Going into a restrictive method or all in is not sustainable for the majority of people.

How many people do you know how have gone through periods of restrictive and binging phases? Maybe you are someone who has fallen victim to this.

The best part about achieving a weight loss goal is that you don't need to spend hours a week doing boring cardio and you don't have to cut out your favourite foods.

You could eat fast food everyday and still lose weight!

It doesn't matter about how many carbs or fats you eat, how many calories you burn in a workout, what zone your heart rate is in, whether you fast throughout the day, morning workouts over evening workouts, artificial sweeteners, eating a f*cking chocolate bar.

All of this bullsh*t that has been thrown in our face to persuade us to take drastic measures to achieve a weight loss goal is a load of bollocks.

Hiring a coach is massively undervalued.

All of that guess work, trail and error, wondering if you are doing the right thing, spending hours of hard work following the wrong program, trying to see a little bit more progress.

All of that headache can be evaporated by simple hiring a coach. even for as short as a single month!

To give you a quick overview. The process of online coaching looks like this:

Step 1. Consultation/ sign up.

Step 2. Time for me to start designing your personalised program.

Step 3. Send out your training program and nutrition plan.

Step 4. Download your app and access your program.

Step 5. Get coached throughout the duration of your program + changes to your plan when required.

Step 6. Weekly check-ins with your coach and have access to weekly webinars.

This is an extremely personalised service and I go above and beyond to work closely with you throughout the duration of your program.

Upon signing up a consultation will be organised and you will be sent a start up form which you will be required to fill out. This allows me to collect information about you that can allow me to design the perfect program for you.

Following on from the consultation I will then design your training program and nutrition plan. Tailored to you. To your health and fitness goals. To your likes and dislikes. To your lifestyle and commitments. IT IS TAILORED TO YOU!

You will be able to access your programs and more via your very own app.

You can use this app to follow along to your workouts with and to update your progress in the gym. It allows you to track your weight, measurements, and photos. As well as being able to contact your coach at any time. By having everything in one place it makes the experience far more personal and effective with online personal training.

Weekly check-ins will be done at a day and time convenient for you. This is a chance where we can have a proper chat about your weeks work. Review your progress made and come up with strategies to help you push through plateaus and keep working towards your goal.

Gain access to weekly webinars and to the ACPT Academy + member's section. Weekly webinars will cover different topics each week breaking down different elements to health and fitness. Giving you the knowledge and power to make change and take action.

This is the service that I offer and I'm proud of it.

I have worked hard behind the scenes and continue to do so to create a product that gives exceptional service as well providing the best personalised training and nutrition programs.
